Famagusta City Museum Board Member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nafia Akdeniz participated as an invited speaker at Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture's Beyond the Border-lines Graduation Jury Seminar Series.

Making Famagusta Common Beyond Borders: Spatial Connectedness, Cultural Heritage and Contested Futures", Akdeniz shared information about Famagusta City Museum's ongoing participatory workshops and the upcoming exhibition focusing on the collective memory of Famagusta Port. He also emphasised that Famagusta's tangible and intangible heritage, together with community engagement and narrative approaches, can strengthen place attachment and inspire the future beyond borders and nostalgia.
