PROTOCOL SIGNED FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FAMAGUSTA CITY MUSEUM IN THE WALLED CITY OF FAMAGUSTA

A protocol has been signed between the Municipality and the Famagusta City Museum Association for the establishment of the Famagusta City Museum within the historic walled city of Famagusta.The agreement was signed by Mayor Dr. Süleyman Uluçay and Prof. Dr. Uğur Ulaş Dağlı, with members of the association’s executive board also present at the ceremony. The protocol outlines a collaboration between the municipality and the association to transform spaces no. 4 and 6, located next to the Akkule Gate, into the Famagusta City Museum. It also includes the formation of a joint committee to guide and oversee the project.
